    Fiberglass septic tanks can range from 750 to 10,000 gallons. The size of the tank you need depends on the size of your household, water usage, and local regulations. For example, a 1,000 gallon tank is typically used for households, while larger tanks are needed for commercial establishments.

    Fiberglass septic tanks are made from a composite material with a glass fiber shell and an HDPE liner. 
     
     
  • Water pressure
    Fiberglass septic tanks can have a maximum operating pressure of 100 psi, a maximum bursting pressure of 300 psi, and a maximum testing pressure of 150 psi. 
     
     
  • Burial depth
    Fiberglass septic tanks can be installed up to 4 feet underground. 
     
     
  • Depth
    The bottom of the outlet to the floor of a septic tank should be at least 42 inches deep. The maximum depth to consider is 78 inches.
