FRP Furniture

FRP furniture is made from a mixture of fiberglass, calcium carbonate, and resin. It typically contains 25–30% glass fiber by weight. 

FRP furniture should have a flame spread rating of 25 or less, as measured by ASTM test method E-84. It should also meet the self-extinguishing requirements of ASTM D635. 

FRP furniture should contain a UV inhibitor. 

FRP furniture should have a synthetic surface veil fabric covering the glass reinforcement. 

FRP furniture should meet or exceed the minimum published mechanical properties.
